BK’s Latest Sandwich Will ‘Blow Your Mind Away’

What are they thinking? Burger King has had some pretty creepy advertising campaigns in the past but what in the world is going on with the print ad below which promotes their new 7 inch sandwich?

The advertisement leaves little to the imagination. Advertising experts are saying that the ad should be discontinued due to “distasteful” and unappetizing references to oral sex.

The print ad for the “BK Super Seven Incher” — a limited time promotion in Singapore, shows the “mind-blowing” sandwich near the open mouth of a wide-eyed, red-lipsticked woman accompanied by the suggestive tagline: “It’ll blow your mind away.”

The ad even goes on to say, “Fill your desire for something long, juicy and flame-grilled.”

Mark Duffy, a blogger and an advertising copyrighter at a major New York City firm, said the advertisement is among the “worst” he’s ever seen in more than 17 years of industry experience.

“I’ve seen a lot of sexual innuendo ads and this is about the worst, especially for something as mainstream as Burger King,” Duffy told FOXNews.com. “I was a little repulsed by it. It’s really misogynistic to women and it’s also unappetizing.”

Man Calls 911 After Burger King Runs Out of Lemonade

We see mis-uses of the phone number 911, which is supposed to be used for “emergencies only,” all the time. Every once in awhile, a mis-use of 911 is so bizarre, so outrageous, one has to wonder if the person is even from this plant.

Such was the case when a man called 911 because Burger King had run out of lemonade.

Here is the news report of the incident.

While the man did not get his lemonade, he did receive something that would give him a “sour taste” – a summons to appear in court for mis-using 911.

New ‘Flame-Broiled’ Body Spray From Burger King

Have you ever wanted to smell like a fast food hamburger but didn’t necessarily wanted to spread hamburger meat all over yourself? Worry no longer because Flame by Burger King is here – a new body spray for men that is described as having “the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat.”

Burger King is promoting the product through firemeetsdesire.com and has also made the product available for purchase at New York City retailer Ricky’s NYC in stores and online for a limited time for $3.99.

If you do visit the web site above, you will see several scenes as you ‘spary’ the fragrance of which you will eventually come to this one:

Yup that is the King character, who is already creepy enough, in nothing more than a towel of some sort.

Personally, I think that if I want to smell like fast food hamburgers, I’ll do it the old-fashioned way – buy a six dollar burger and fries from Carl’s Jr. and lock myself in the car while I eat it.

Taco Bell Drive-Thru

Someone needs to tell this guy that the drive-thru is on the other side! Or maybe this is an older taco Bell that does not have a drive-thru and this patron was simply making their own.

Would You Like a Bag of Pot With Your Order?

You’ll have to agree that it is frustrating to take out food from a fast food restaurant only to find something missing after you get your order. That is why it is nice when they accidentally give you something extra that you didn’t order. However for a Colorado couple, the “extra” thing they got was quite a shock – a small bag of marijuana.

The couple discovered the pot in their order from a Del Taco restaurant and immediately called Lakewood police. Twenty six year old Dennis Klermund is the “former” Del Taco employee who actually served the couple. Klermund initially denied any knowledge but later admitted the bag was meant for a friend after a search dog found more marijuana in a locker, police said.

He now faces charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
