		<description>Armor for dogs was fairly common, usually for the dogs that were used hunting boar, so that they didn&#039;t get gored as easily. Also, dogs were sometimes used for war; the Romans used mastiffs, as did Henry the VIII, his daughter Elizabeth I, and Napoleon Bonaparte.</description>
