Man Protests Drunk Driving Charge While Driving Drunk

An Australian man who was charged with driving while intoxicated was not happy with the charge. So in protest he drove right down to the police station to complain about the charge. Unfortunately, he was still drunk

When the 65-year-old man was initially stopped in the northern city of Linz and cited for drunk driving his driving license and car keys were taken away. He then went home, picked up his spare car keys, went back to the abandoned car and drove to police headquarters to explain why he was unhappy with the charge.

“When the driver tried to show police officers what had happened the first time, they detected he was still under the influence of alcohol,” police said in a statement.

The driver was charged a second time.
